Mark is a good instructor and eager to teach about all aspects of diving, not just the course you sign up for. I did the deep diver course and he was very patient. Besides good instruction, it's worth coming to Lake Ilopango for the experience of diving at altitude in relatively warm water, and the volcanic vents are very cool. Not much to see in terms of fish, but there's a wide variety of birds to see from the boat. The scenery is amazing and we got lucky with 3 days of calm water. There is a long round trip car ride from the beach to the volcano, but it could have been worse. Traveled in May 2025.

What an amazing dive experience with this outfit. They truly went above and beyond to be accommodating and help me with some travel issues that I had run into. And that was all before doing an amazing dive in a live volcano cauldron. They definitely know their stuff, very safe and skilled Masters. Would highly recommend to any skill level.
