Completed my PADI Open Water Diving course and it was amazing. Nick was an great instructor. Was very patient, calm and explained everything as clear as possible. He seemed to be the most experienced instructor in the water when we completed our dives, as he had extensive knowledge of the dive sites, conditions and underwater marine life every time. With him having completed over 1,500 dives on Koh Tao alone, it was very easy to trust him. The training was very structured, easy to follow, and gave me full confidence in the water. The structure was a pool session on Day 1, followed by two dives on Day 2, and a further two dives on Day 3. It left plenty of time for me to explore Koh Tao itself, as the time required to complete the course did not take up the whole day each day. Overall was an amazing experience. Excellent value at 9,900 Baht (roughly €270). I stayed in Fisherman Koh Tao, which was 2 minutes from the dive centre. However, there are cheaper alternatives around to stay in. A pickup truck was provided each day to get from the dive centre to the boat at the pier. Pictures were taken on the GoPro throughout the experience, which was a great bonus. I finished the course on a high and when I am in back in Koh Tao, I will be completing my Advanced Open Water PADI course with Ocean Sound. Would 100% recommend

Incredible diving school! From the moment I started messaging Jesper on what’s app, I had such a good feeling about this school. It is such an overwhelming process to choose a dive school, and with so many automated responses, it was nice to have a personal conversation with the coowner and get some honest advice about choosing where to do my open water. When I first walked in I was chatting with Anton who was very friendly and informative. Based off of these two very positive interactions I decided to move forward with ocean sound and will forever be so grateful! We were a group of 4 and another group of 3 with Caellum and Jan who were both so nice and fun! Also both very safe and calming presences which feels like the perfect balance for trying out diving. The organization from taxi pick ups to the boat trip and back to the school were all seamless. Each day of instruction flew by and the dive sites were all so beautiful! After the course when I was worried about my certificate coming in time to maybe try and go on a fun dive at a different school (only because ocean sound was fully booked) they were so helpful and emailed PADI immediately for me. On my last day in Koh Tao I also got to try a Pilates class at the yoga studio, which was great too! I truly couldn’t ask for a better intro to diving, and I can’t wait to continue exploring the ocean. Thank you so much ocean sound and yoga, I hope to be back soon!

Highly recommend Ocean Sound for anyone learning to dive for the first time or looking to progress their diving skills. We completed the Open Water Course with our instructor, Ella, who was an exceptional teacher—knowledgeable, patient, and great at building confidence throughout the course. As part of the training, we completed four ocean dives. Ella explained each skill clearly and made sure we felt comfortable and confident before moving on to the next stage. The dives themselves were fantastic, with good visibility and plenty of marine life to see. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend Ocean Sound to anyone considering learning to scuba dive in Koh Tao.

I completed both my Open Water and Advanced Open Water with Ocean Sound in Koh Tao and had the best experience! Harris was my amazing instructor, he made my diving experience to much fun and always made sure we were enjoying ourselves while feeling safe and confident. We had an amazing time completing our Padi Certifications here in Koh Tao with Oceansound. We first only planed to complete the Open Water Diving course but after having had so much fun getting to know the underwater world with our instructor Nick, we decided to go a step further and complete the Advanced course right away. Nick was the best! He didn’t just teach us how to dive, he also shared his extensive knowledge of marine life, corals, and everything beneath the surface with us. Besides the diving he was very helpful, telling us all about different nice restaurants and cool spots around the whole island🤙🏼🏝️ We are very thankful for this amazing experience and happy that we chose Oceansound.
