This is a fantastic hotel on the most beautiful island. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. One thing to note, if you don’t get the private transfer, it is a long day with lots of changes to get to the island, and you will struggle to do this if you come from Manila on the same day. The staff are fantastic, they couldn’t be more helpful. The food is excellent too. I tried something new at each meal and there wasn’t one thing I regretted ordering! The diving here is focused on macro-photography as opposed to corals, but the guides will facilitate requests and there are some beautiful reefs. I didn’t do night diving, but it sounded incredible and full of life from the guests that did.

Sunset Cove is designed with love of diving, perfect for anyone who is already initiated or someone new (like I was). My teacher, Charo, took great care to ensure I felt confident & safe in the water & with all my gear so we could enjoy our dives without a worry. She was also magnetic in relaying a love for the sea, her knowledge of marine life & its conservation. It worked-- in a convert! I feel I couldn't have made a better choice to complete my open water diving course anywhere else. Now I want to come back so I can do some of the deeper dives on the island & surrounds. Gorgeous place & people. Alad has incredible sites to see a variety of unique nudibranchs & so, so many tropical fish & coral in a near pristine environment. Even good for snorkelling only! Please note, I was able to sleep elsewhere & take part in the diving. This review just reflects that aspect of the resort's offerings.

We spent 6 heavenly days at Sunset Cove Resort: diving, relaxing by the pool, and eating Chris’ delicious food! (I’m already missing those pancakes!! 🥞😋) The rooms are clean, large, and very comfortable, and the A/C cools things down quickly. Joyce was very helpful in arranging a boat to pick us up when our ferry arrived in Romblon early in the morning. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming, like staying with friends. As for the diving, we’re not macro enthusiasts so instead we visited the excellent dive sites at Cobrador Island and the Blue Hole. Thank you Joyce & Chris for making our stay such a memorable one! ❤️

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The accommodation is beautifully located, surrounded by stunning nature and close to some truly amazing dive spots. The underwater world here is incredible and every dive felt like a special experience. All the staff members and dive guides are exceptionally friendly, professional, and welcoming. You immediately feel at home. They are always helpful and go out of their way to make sure everything runs smoothly. The food is fantastic, everything is homemade, freshly prepared, and offered at a very reasonable price. Every meal felt made with care and love. Whenever there was a small issue or question, they took care of it right away and made sure we had a perfect stay. You can really tell that they genuinely care about their guests. This place is truly a little gem. We would come back anytime and can highly recommend it. Thank you :)

We spent 13 nights at Sunset Cove Beach & Dive Resort and couldn’t have been happier. The small, peaceful resort is beautifully maintained, right on the beach with a lovely pool and garden area. Our room was spacious and well-equipped, with a small but functional bathroom, and the food was delicious with options for vegetarians. The dive center, Romblon Fun Divers, is outstanding—well organized, with expert guides who know how to spot rare critters and provide excellent photography tips. Daily planning, clear briefings, and attentive service made every dive enjoyable and stress-free. For anyone seeking a relaxed resort with friendly staff and incredible macro/muck diving, this place is a true gem. We can’t wait to return!
